Fuel Injection Systems
Besides our well-proven pump, line and nozzle systems, which we will offer for mechanical injection solutions, we have developed the DEUTZ Common Rail System (DCR®). This design uses two high-pressure feed pumps driven from the engine camshaft to provide fuel to the rail. As in any common rail system, electronically controlled injectors deliver the fuel to the combustion chambers. Using this concept enables us to maintain the basic engine dimensions and keeps all auxiliary power takeoffs available for customer use. For engines larger than 7-liter displacement, 320 HP (240 kW) to 670 HP (500 kW), we will continue to offer our well-proven Magnetic Valve System DEUTZ MVS®.
